Our Origin Story
Paul (left) lived in Paris where he worked as a mechanic. When his son-in-law moved to the rural Northeast of France, he and his wife settled nearby, where he could help raise his grandson (right) and they quickly became great friends. Together, they enjoyed watching international rugby games, picking berries, cherries, apples, and making jams, growing vegetables in his garden, and walking to the local farm to get fresh milk and see the cows. Time went on and his grandson went to college, but within the first year Paul started to cough. Paul quickly found out he had advanced lung cancer. His grandson would come to visit him at the hospital, but within a few very short months Paul passed away. His grandson continued his education and has dedicated his work on finding solutions to improve detection of such diseases.
